I'm glad to see that I'm not alone when it comes to having problems with eBay. eBay appears to close accounts on unfounded grounds, and provides little or no description for their actions. Not to mention that their customer support is nothing less than disgusting.

However...they are members of the Better Business Bureau and that website does take complaints online...I wrote a real nice one... :)

Should anyone need to file a complaint against eBay, go to http://www.bbbsilicon.org find eBay and file your complaint. I think if we get enough people to raise a stink eBay will start more paying attention to its customers, I think it is possible that eBay can lose their BBB standing if they get too many complaints as well.

eBay uses several ways to track you

1) cookies

2) Javascript / Java

3) Your IP address

4) If you are a seller, they ask you question as if those questions are from buyers. You don't answer them, they nail you good.

5) Response Now button

6) Your computer name

7) Call you and pretend that they call a wrong seller which was suspended.

8) disguise themself as buyer and ask you a question about an item (that sold under a suspended account)

9) Windows serial # / Screen Resolution / Computer name / Windows user name - They collect these but these will not lead to your suspension. These will trigger their computers.

As stated in their Terms of Service, eBay has the right to terminate any account at any time for any reason and regardless of any information you may provide. in all cases, it is impossible for you to prove innocence to eBay's satisfaction.
Why does eBay suspend me?
1) buyer/seller report you. Remember the old days, eBay were on sellers side. The tide has turned (since lots buyers complaint to the BBB). eBay now more on buyers' side. they can suspend your seller account if you get into a "fight" with a stupid/nuckle head buyer.
a class action from sellers is impossible because their term and condition. eBay hired programmers to make an automated program that suspends you base on those categories above. It lead to lots of unfair suspensions. sellers got mad. Now once you trigger their software, eBay trust and safty poeple will try to nail you. 99% you can't get your suspension lift. Therefore do not bother the appeal process. It is very important for you not to trigger their software.

Since Ebay are so nice enough to allow buyers and sellers an opportunity to leave each other feedback it would only be fair that we give our feedback to Ebay

If Ebay had their own feedback, they'd have to suspend themselves! "
