Meanwhile, eBay is still being hammered with scam listings and hijacked accounts, many of them being attributed to the Romanian hacker Vladuz. This listing for a Harley Davidson motorcycle was hijacked last night at 8:00 PM EST and a fake Buy It Now image with email address was added: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Harley-Davidson-Softail-Custom-Pro-Str...
As I write this, it has been on the site for 15 hours+, without eBay taking action to remove the listing or at least remove the image with the fake Buy It Now offer in it. This same listing was reported to management by ebay members at least 9 hours ago. ...yet it remains on the site. Meanwhile on the discussion forums at eBay, some posts are getting pulled within minutes.
Maybe eBay should be using some of the resourced they have manning the discussion boards for censorship to help remove the onslaught of scam listings.
In case ebay does get around to removing the listing before you read this, here is a screenshot: http://www.firemeg.com/dontouch/dontouchpics2/harley.gif (click to enlarge if needed).
